Little Mix- How ya doin’

I have decided to look at this video because I think it represents popular,chart music very well in the sense that teenagers are often influenced by what popstars wear. Here, the four girls wear high-street clothes suggesting that anyone can afford their look and that it is easy achievable. The use of high-street clothes may also make the girls more likeable as it makes them seem down to earth. Another reason for the high-street look could be that they are a mainstream band and mainstream clothes come from the high-street so the clothes help represent who they are.

Initial ideas…

For my MS3 piece I am thinking of looking into both fashion and music as they are both of interest to me. Perhaps the question I could look into would be ‘How is fashion represented through different genres of music video’s?’.
